what's Xtrata?

Xtrata is an executable data layer anchored to Bitcoin via the Stacks blockchain, enabling permanent on-chain inscription of executable content such as HTML, images, apps, art, and music. It functions as a graph-based reference layer for recursive and composable Web3 applications and NFTs, eliminating off-chain dependencies like IPFS or Arweave. Inscriptions are batched (up to 30 chunks per transaction), sealed on-chain, and linked via dependencies to form verifiable data graphs. Artists and developers use minting contracts (V1/V2) to launch collections with configurable supply and STX-based mint prices. Files up to 4MB are inscribed directly, supporting economic primitives like access rights or premium memberships. Built for generational persistence, it powers immutable infrastructure for Bitcoin-secured smart applications.
