what's Vocdoni?

Vocdoni is a decentralized infrastructure for universally verifiable, privacy-preserving, and scalable digital voting. It employs blockchain technology, zero-knowledge proofs, and cryptographic primitives to enable censorship-resistant elections where votes are anonymous yet fully auditable by anyone. Key components include the vocdoni-node for backend operations, gnark-based circuits for anonymous voting proofs, and SDKs for integration. Initially developed for secure voting applications, it has been integrated with Ethereum and acquired by the Aragon Association to advance governance tools in Web3.
