what's Verity?

Verity is a capture-time verification tool for videos and photos that prevents deepfakes by ensuring live recording with real-time AI monitoring. It automatically generates cryptographic hashes, embeds metadata (timestamp, GPS, device, wallet), adds tamper-evident watermarks, and stores proofs on Base and Soneium blockchains. Users get shareable verification links, QR codes, certificates, C2PA manifests, and AI authenticity scores, with optional NFT minting of verified content for ~$0.01 gas (platform-covered). Part of the WeAD Web3 ecosystem, Verity enables permanent onchain authenticity for creators, journalists, and brands, including transaction proofs and full AI analysis. This makes content verifiable anywhere, combating manipulation while supporting Web3 utility like NFT marketplaces.
