VEIL VPN00

what's VEIL VPN?

VEIL VPN is a permissionless, pay-as-you-go VPN protocol designed to cryptographically prove that no user logs are retained. Traditional VPNs claim no-log policies but operate as black boxes; VEIL addresses this by executing fully open-source WireGuard VPN code inside a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) via Oasis ROFL. The TEE produces a deterministic hash of the running code, which is attested and published on-chain through a Solidity smart contract on the Sapphire ParaTime—any code alteration invalidates the attestation. Node operators deploy anywhere, attest their setup, and register ENS subdomains under veil.eth containing endpoint details, WireGuard keys, and payment addresses for permissionless discovery. Users connect via resolved subdomains and pay per session using Circle Nanopayments with off-chain x402 payment authorizations verified by servers, eliminating subscriptions or per-tx gas. World ID provides zero-knowledge proofs of human personhood for dedicated, captcha-free IPs. The protocol is stateless, logging nothing to disk.
