The Vessel is an experimental on-chain art and NFT platform built on Ethereum, emphasizing fully on-chain storage and unique fungibility where data serves as the medium of value. Currently in stealth mode, Sequence 001 introduces timed edition mints like "The Willing," an AI-generated video artwork by Stephen Santoro, minted as ERC-1155 tokens during docking periods defined by Ethereum block heights. Interfaces include View for minting, Live for real-time telemetry of on-chain events (mints, transfers, payloads), and Assembly for composing creative payloads. Users claim from a 10,000-token grid, selecting immutable roles—Navigator, Steward, or Merchant—that evolve and unlock token-gated Discord channels. Relics, such as byte-encoded urban observations like "Manhattan Blocks," preserve real-world moments as permanent blockchain signals, mirroring the density and rhythm of systems like Manhattan with on-chain dynamics.
