what's Share?

Share is a hyperscale internet network aggregating fragmented telecom infrastructure in Africa into a decentralized and interoperable ecosystem. It connects local ISPs to a shared backbone and standardized core network stack, enabling providers to deliver faster speeds at lower costs through an open-access model. The project has deployed 40km of fiber backbone, built micro data centers, and achieved coverage for 1.5 million users with 45,000+ waitlisted, powering connectivity for the continent's youngest and fastest-growing population. Crypto integrates at the settlement and capital layers to improve coordination, financing, and network economics. Backed by crypto venture firms, Share builds on blockchain principles within the DePIN sector, leveraging RWA and stablecoin infrastructure for real-time billing, payments, and scalable expansion.
