Sceptre is a multi-network liquid staking protocol primarily operating on FlareNetworks. Users stake native FLR tokens to receive sFLR, a liquid staking derivative that represents staked FLR plus accrued rewards. This allows stakers to maintain liquidity for DeFi participation while earning staking yields. The protocol manages an exchange rate between sFLR and FLR that increases over time as rewards accumulate. Features include direct wallet staking, cooldown periods for unstaking, and integration with DEXs for swaps during fee periods or to bypass cooldowns. sFLR can also be deposited into protocols like Steer for additional yield strategies.
