what's Rollkit?

Rollkit is a modular, open-source framework designed for deploying sovereign rollups, enabling developers to build customizable layer-2 solutions independent of specific data availability (DA) or settlement layers. It supports various execution environments such as EVM, CosmWasm, and Cosmos SDK, while leveraging DA from providers like Celestia, Bitcoin, or Ethereum. Originally developed within the Celestia ecosystem, Rollkit was spun out as a neutral, community-led public good to foster innovation across the modular blockchain stack.
