what's Pell Network?
Pell Network is the first omnichain Bitcoin restaking network designed for BTCFi. It enables Bitcoin holders to restake their BTC across multiple chains, extending Bitcoin's security to power Decentralized Validation Services (DVS, also known as AVS). This unlocks Bitcoin's cryptoeconomic potential by providing shared security to various protocols without requiring native BTC bridging. The network operates through a restaking mechanism where BTC is deposited into Pell's vaults, generating restaked BTC (rbBTC) that validators stake to secure DVS. Validators participate in slashing conditions and earn rewards from services they validate, while restakers opt into coverage for selected networks. Pell supports seamless cross-chain operations via its omnichain architecture, fostering interoperability and scalability in BTCFi ecosystems.
