what's PayFx?

PayFx is an AI-powered payroll agent built on the Base blockchain that automates onchain payments for remote workers using fxUSD. It eliminates high subscription and transaction fees common in traditional platforms like Rise ($50/contractor) and Deel ($49/employee/month), offering zero-fee processing while earning native yield on held salaries through fxUSD's fxSAVE mechanism. Targeting underserved fxUSD integration in HR/payroll (previously only USDC/USDT supported), it features employee swapping interfaces and plans for expanded functionality. Developed from first principles for real market demand in payments, the project is open-source with a public GitHub repository and proof-of-concept demo.

PayFx received a 500 fxUSD grant from protocol_fx's Builder Grants program.
