OrdTorches is a Bitcoin Ordinals NFT collection consisting of 3,000 pixel art PNG inscriptions that honor the history, culture, heroes, villains, memes, protocols, and milestones of the Ordinals ecosystem on Bitcoin. Inspired by Bitcoin Shrooms—which chronicles Bitcoin's narrative—OrdTorches focuses on Ordinals' "humble corner," tributing key figures like Casey Rodarmor, projects such as Fomojis and Wizards of Ord, and innovations including parent-child inscriptions, recursion, delegation, and reinscription. All torches are inscribed as children of Bitcoin Shroom inscription #795, leveraging parent-child provenance for immutable on-chain lineage and authenticity. The project emphasizes community and legacy-building within Ordinals circles, with features like whitelists for early supporters, potential physical satscard rewards for minters/holders, and a clean, recognizable minimalist art direction.
