what's Octra?
Octra is a decentralized network designed to enable fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) for privacy-preserving computations on blockchains. It allows encrypted smart contracts and tokens to operate across multiple ecosystems, such as Ethereum and Solana, without exposing sensitive data or relying on trusted off-chain processors. By integrating with EVM, SVM, and IBC protocols, Octra facilitates secure, verifiable execution of private logic in a unified cloud-like environment. The platform supports development in familiar languages like Solidity, Rust, WASM, and C++, compiling to bytecode for on-chain deployment. Octra leverages hypergraphs for efficient FHE operations and proof-of-useful-work mechanisms to evolve blockchains into layered, proof-based networks. This unlocks applications in tokenized private data, cross-chain DeFi, and encrypted compute, ensuring no data leaks while maintaining decentralization and interoperability.
Octra's ICO is scheduled for January 2026.
