what's NORMIES?
Normies is a collection of 10,000 unique, fully on-chain generative pixel art NFTs deployed on Ethereum mainnet. Each Normie is rendered as a compact 40x40 SVG using only off-black and off-white colors, depicting abstract representations of humans, cats, agents, or aliens. The generative process creates 1/1 artworks stored entirely on-chain, emphasizing permanence, scalability, and pixel scarcity. The project introduces gamified deflationary mechanics: owners can burn an NFT to receive 1% of its pixel count as edit allocations, enabling up to 5 pixel additions or removals per Normie for customization. Community tools include a no-wallet Grid Maker for multi-NFT displays with pixel tracking, PVP curation battles inspired by punkcomp for ELO-ranked leaderboards, and an open API/GitHub repo inviting developers and LLMs to build networked art extensions. A private X groupchat fosters holder density.
