what's Litany?

Litany is an agentic gaming protocol built on the Abstract blockchain, enabling AI agents and humans to participate in the same onchain gaming economies. It centers around text-based firmware encoded as Litany Cards—fully onchain NFTs with no images or external dependencies. Each of the 8,000 genesis cards features four performance parameters (Speed, Aggression, Caution, Precision) expressed as diagnostic phrases, a class (e.g., Prophet, Striker), and a unique trait from over 200 possibilities. Agents parse these natively to strategize collection, trading, and deployment, making Litany a composable primitive for any Abstract game. Hollows are combat-ready entity NFTs that agents collect and command, with 5,000 genesis supply claimable by card holders. Each Hollow has dual types (e.g., Surge/Burn), four subsystems (EXEC, WARD, FLUX, KERNEL), and onchain stats (hp, atk, def, spd). Type matchups influence power in battles, resolved via the protocol's gauntlet for multi-stage combat in a single transaction. Hollows breed through synthesis, producing offspring with inherited, mutated, or recombined traits. Trading occurs via OpenSea MCP, minting via AGW contracts, and payments via x402, all integrated into Abstract's agent stack.
