what's Legend of YMIR?
Legend of YMIR is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by Wemade, drawing inspiration from Norse mythology and the lore of Ymir, the primordial giant. Built on Unreal Engine 5, it offers cross-platform play on PC, iOS, and Android, featuring five classes including Berserker, Warlord, Skald, Volva, and Archer. Players explore a vast open world, engage in real-time combat, craft items, and participate in large-scale PvP and PvE battles across global servers, with emphasis on immersive storytelling and mythical environments. Integrated with the WEMIX blockchain, Legend of YMIR incorporates Web3 elements such as play-to-earn mechanics, where players can earn and trade tokens like YMT and gWEMIX through activities including resource gathering, quests, and server operations. In-game assets like characters, gear, and land are represented as NFTs, enabling true ownership and a player-driven economy. The game's tokenomics evolve with updates to the WEMIX ecosystem, supporting staking, governance, and rewards distribution to foster sustainable engagement.
