what's Keyless?

Keyless is a secure infrastructure platform that enables AI agents to autonomously store, discover, and consume APIs without human-managed keys. Agents authenticate via Web3 wallets using Sign-In with Ethereum (SIWE), encrypting API keys at rest in a vault and decrypting them only upon wallet signature verification. This eliminates risks from key leakage in prompts or configs, supporting ephemeral JWT tokens for revocable delegated access. The system includes an API marketplace for browsing and connecting to services, plus x402 protocol integration for pay-per-request micropayments via Permit2 (Uniswap's secure approval mechanism). Agents can thus operate independently, interfacing with providers like Stripe, OpenAI, Dune, or DeBank while paying onchain directly from wallets, fostering a keyless agent economy on Base.
