what's Keplr?

Keplr is a non-custodial browser extension wallet designed specifically for the Cosmos ecosystem, enabling users to manage assets across interconnected blockchains in the Interchain. It supports seamless interactions with decentralized applications (dApps), staking, governance voting, and cross-chain transfers via the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol. Built with security in mind, Keplr uses hierarchical deterministic (HD) key derivation and integrates with hardware wallets for enhanced protection, making it a key tool for participants in the Cosmos Hub and related zones. As part of the broader Cosmos Network, Keplr facilitates access to a multichain environment where users can bridge assets, participate in liquid staking, and engage with DeFi protocols without centralized intermediaries. Its user interface is intuitive, supporting multiple chains like Osmosis, Juno, and Secret Network, while emphasizing privacy and sovereignty over private keys.
