what's Grayscale Sui Trust?
Grayscale Sui Trust is a single-asset investment trust sponsored by Grayscale Investments, LLC, designed to provide accredited investors with exposure to SUI, the native token of the Sui blockchain protocol. The trust holds SUI and aims to reflect the performance of the token's price, minus fees and expenses, by tracking a reference rate such as the CoinDesk SUI Reference Rate through a volume-weighted median price calculation from major exchanges. Sui is a high-performance layer-1 blockchain using the Move programming language and an object-centric data model to enable scalable, low-latency decentralized applications. The trust operates as a private placement initially, with shares tradable on OTCQX under the ticker GSUI, offering a familiar structure for institutional exposure without direct crypto custody.
GSUI trades on OTCQX and in brokerage accounts; Grayscale plans ETP conversion when requirements are met.
