what's Grandine?
Grandine is an open-source Ethereum Consensus Layer client implemented in Rust, designed for Ethereum staking infrastructure. Started in 2019 amid existing clients like Lighthouse, it emphasizes efficiency and community value through stealth development and open-sourcing based on early adopter feedback. The project also develops applied cryptography initiatives leveraging advanced Zero Knowledge Proof schemes such as PlonK and Nova. Additionally, Grandine provides security services including automated fuzzing, static analysis, and manual auditing tailored for distributed systems in the blockchain space.
Grandine participated in multi-client post-quantum consensus devnets with Lighthouse and Prysm.
