what's Generic?
Generic is neutral infrastructure enabling networks and applications to deploy customizable, native onchain stablecoins that are yield-generating, universally liquid, and optionally private. It aggregates existing stablecoins like USDT and USDC alongside assets such as Sky's USDS, routing yield directly to users and networks rather than issuers, resolving tensions around rewards through onchain logic. Built on Ethereum in collaboration with SteakhouseFi and leveraging Morpho for composable liquidity, Generic's first deployment is GUSD. This design ensures seamless fungibility and optimal onchain yields, with limitless possibilities for private stablecoins via partnerships.
