Ethereum Identity Kit (EIK) is an open-source developer toolkit that streamlines the integration of Ethereum-based identity protocols into decentralized applications (dApps). It bundles components such as profile cards and follow buttons, built on standards like ENS domains for human-readable addresses, Ethereum Follow Protocol (EFP) for on-chain social graphs, and Sign-In with Ethereum (SIWE) for secure wallet-based authentication. Created by the team behind EFP, EIK enables rapid addition of social and identity features without relying on centralized services. Developers can install it as a library or extension, for example via Scaffold-ETH starters, fostering programmable, user-owned identities directly on Ethereum.
