what's EthXY?
EthXY is a blockchain-based gaming project built on Base, featuring pixel art MMORPG elements where players create customizable characters, explore open worlds, engage in combat, trade, and discover secrets. It incorporates NFT-like assets such as personalized pixel characters with hex color customization across classes like Adventurer, Trader, Noble, Priest, and Farmer. The project has expanded to develop an L3 World Chain, an Optimism-based EVM chain that settles to Base, enabling fast micro-transactions with SEXY as the native gas token. Gameplay draws inspiration from strategy titles like Risk and Settlers of Catan, integrated with EthXY plots for territorial control and decentralized ownership.
