what's DOT Pixel?

DOT Pixel is an on-chain DeFi game built on Polkadot Hub, featuring a massive 1,000,000-pixel collaborative canvas. Players purchase pixels using the network's testnet token (PAS on Paseo testnet), paint them in real-time, and overwrite others to compete. The game incorporates FOMO mechanics where the last buyer standing claims the entire prize pool accumulated from transactions. Technical mechanics revolve around fully on-chain pixel ownership and trading, enabling emergent markets as pixels become assets. Deployed as a smart contract (visible on blockscout-testnet), it supports high-performance collaborative pixel art with Next.js frontend. Currently in public testnet with DOT rewards for testers; mainnet launch imminent post-hackathon success.

DOT Pixel won the EVM Track at the Polkadot Solidity Hackathon (OpenGuild/Web3 Foundation).
