what's Blockmachine?
Blockmachine is a decentralized marketplace for RPC and archive node infrastructure on Bittensor Subnet 19. A protocol-operated gateway routes customer requests to competing miners based on quality scores (latency, success rate, reliability) and USD-per-compute-unit bids. Responses are verified in real-time via Merkle proofs against chain state roots for provable correctness, with logs enabling validators to score and permanently ban faulty miners. This two-layer enforcement ensures high reliability while miners compete on price and performance. Payouts are work-based (compute units served), settled in subnet alpha tokens with USD-anchored pricing to decouple from volatility. Excess emissions burn when demand outpaces supply, and a Protocol Stability Reserve buys back alpha to neutralize sell pressure. Initially focused on Bittensor chain, expanding to Ethereum and BSC, it incentivizes self-optimizing infrastructure through economic alignment.
