what's Silk Pocket?

Silk Pocket is a Web3 wallet developed by the Busan Digital Asset Exchange (BDAN) in collaboration with Hashed and Npay, Naver's fintech arm. It integrates a digital version of Busan's regional currency, Dongbaek-jeon, as a stablecoin-pegged asset, enabling seamless use for residents and tourists via blockchain technology. The wallet supports stablecoin transactions and aims to drive adoption of KRW-pegged digital currencies in South Korea. Built for convenience and security, it represents a step toward citizen-centric Web3 services in Busan, with features like decentralized storage and integration with local payment systems.
