what's Anonymice?
Anonymice is a generative NFT collection on Ethereum, consisting of 10,000 unique mice fully generated and stored on-chain using Solidity smart contracts. Released in September 2021, it emphasizes decentralization with CC0 licensing, no IPFS, no APIs, and a renounced contract ensuring immutability. The first 2,000 were free to mint, while the remaining required $CHEETH earned via staking mice (1 $CHEETH per mouse per day), pioneering a tokenized mint model. Holders could burn mice for a chance at rarer regenerations, resulting in 6,450 burns and only 3,550 remaining. Additional mechanics include on-chain breeding of Anonymice Babies using two parents and $CHEETH, creating traceable lineage. $CHEETH serves as the ecosystem's utility token for minting, breeding, and other interactions, with updates like V3 having a capped supply.
