what's AgentKit?
AgentKit is an open-source developer toolkit created by World Network in collaboration with Coinbase and Cloudflare. It enables individuals with verified World ID—proof of unique humanness via iris biometrics—to delegate their human proof to AI agents. This allows agents to cryptographically demonstrate they are backed by a real human during online interactions, without exposing personal data, fostering trust in the emerging agentic web. The toolkit integrates with the x402 protocol for seamless verification alongside micropayments. A verified human registers an agent by linking its wallet to their anonymous World ID proof. When the agent accesses protected services, it signs an authentication challenge, which the service verifies against the human proof to enforce sybil resistance, rate limiting, ticketing, and privacy-preserving access. Available as npm package (@worldcoin/agentkit), it powers use cases like secure reservations, personalized news curation, and bot-resistant APIs.
AgentKit launched beta on World ID for human-verified automation, distinguishing human agents from bots.
