what's ARO Network?
ARO Network is a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) project focused on building an edge cloud infrastructure tailored for the AI era. It leverages idle bandwidth from user-contributed nodes to create a faster and more cost-effective alternative to traditional content delivery networks (CDNs). Participants run ARO nodes or deploy ARO Pods to contribute resources, earning rewards in the form of Jade points and badges through mining competitions and daily activities. The network operates on a testnet phase, where users install clients, participate in anti-spam measures, and engage in community events to build the ecosystem. ARO emphasizes decentralization to scale AI workloads, integrating with blockchain for secure, incentivized resource sharing. It has participated in DePIN expos and conferences, showcasing hardware like ARO Pods for offline meetups and developer integrations. Future plans include mainnet transition, enabling tokenized GPU access and advanced AI workflows. By tokenizing contributions, ARO aims to democratize edge computing, reducing reliance on centralized providers while fostering a global community of node operators.
