what's ADDX?
ADDX is a Singapore-based digital securities exchange regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as a Capital Markets Services licensee and Recognised Market Operator. It leverages blockchain and smart contract technology to tokenize and fractionalize private market investments such as private equity funds, hedge funds, venture debt, and pre-IPO opportunities, enabling accredited and institutional investors to access them with lower minimums and automated lifecycle management. The platform emphasizes security, compliance, and efficiency, integrating digital asset custody and supporting tokenized structures like tracker certificates and money market funds. ADDX has pioneered features like recognizing cryptocurrency holdings for accredited investor qualification and partnering with major institutions for tokenized products, positioning it as a bridge between traditional private markets and blockchain-based distribution.
